Last weekend Hackney Wick field a starting 11 with 7 teenagers and 12 overall in the squad and lost 2-0 to Ilford most certainly ending their playoff hopes. People are saying this a risky policy the club is choosing but youth has always been the philosophy of the club Hackney Wick FC currently play in the Essex Senior League which is the equivalent of division 9 of British Football, having been promoted from the 10th division last season. They were created 10 years ago by Bobby Kasanga and have 20 teams across all ages.
