Hackney came back from back to back defeats with an emphatic 5-1 win at home.

The Wickers dominated early on from proceeding and it wasn’t long before Adam Cheniti smashed home a low free kick from the edge of the box. The match wasn’t yet over though and Harwich pulled one back on the stroke of half time but Cheniti rounded the keeper immediately at the restart to get his second.

Second half saw Harwich have a player sent off and Hackney took advantage of the numbers. Leo Pola running into a loose pass to increase the lead before adding his second and Hackney’s fourth heading in John Silva’s cross.

Cheniti then added his hattrick. This was impressive from a team without top goalscorer Issa Sidibe who is still out injured and was subject of another approach from a step 3 team. Next for Hackney Wick is An away game to Athletuc Newham FC
