A convincing display saw Hackney Wick beat strugglers Park View to climb to 8th in the table.
Frankie Hanmore had the game's first two chances, as he shot wide before seeing his free kick well saved by the Park View keeper. The Wickers then should have taken the lead in the 16th minute. First, Ayub Kadiri, playing in his first match since returning to the club, saw his effort cannon off the crossbar. The rebound fell to Seb Mohammed, whose header was also denied by the woodwork! We continued to press following this, and both Seb and Ben Lewis-Gold came close to breaking the deadlock. Park View, meanwhile, were being restricted to long-range efforts which never looked to trouble Bartz Klimkiewicz in the Hackney Wick goal. Frankie had another chance, as he fired over the bar. The first goal finally came in the 33rd minute. Frankie stood over a free kick from long range, and sent it straight over the keeper and into the top corner! Not unlike the 2 brilliant free-kicks he scored away at Cannons Wood! Just before the break, Park View were reduced to 10 men, as their right-back was sent off for a second bookable offence, having been lucky to avoid a red card just minutes earlier.

Ernest made his first changes in the 56th minute, as Romaine Barnes-Wallace and Atta Gyedu replaced Piotr Maslowski and Ayub. The second goal came just minutes after the substitutions, as Leo Pola played it through to Victory Akam, who slotted it past the onrushing keeper to double the Wickers' lead! Victory had a chance to double his tally just minutes later, but his half-volley sailed over the bar. Unfortunately Frankie was forced off through injury, and he was replaced by Marian Hristov. Again, a goal came shortly after the change. Seb made a brilliant run into the box and cut it back for Leo to calmly slot home. With Frankie off the pitch, Max Grappy was on free-kick duties, and his effort was parried by the keeper. In the 76th minute, Victory was replaced by Kleinti Loufi, and the latter claimed the assist for the 4th goal as he cut it back for Ben to tap in, to finish off a brilliant afternoon for the Wickers!
